Who can see it
Only the people involved in quoting for and doing your job see your details, and each of them sees only what their part needs. Records sit in customer, email and messaging systems run for us by service providers who are contractually bound to keep them safe.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity measure use of the website, but only once you've agreed to analytics cookies, and never see what you enter in a form.
Selling or swapping your details for other firms' marketing is something we don't do. Disclosure beyond the people above happens only when a law demands it.
How long it's kept
Job records: 6 years. Enquiries and quotes that don't go ahead: 6 years. Garden photos: 6 years. For before-and-after pictures, see section 9 of our laying terms.
What you can ask for
You're entitled to a copy of what we hold about you, and to have it corrected or erased. You can also object to a use of it, or stop us contacting you by withdrawing consent. Email info@durhamturf.co.uk or message us through our contact form.
Not happy with how your information was treated? Please raise it with us first, as we'd like the chance to fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office via ico.org.uk.
