How the work fits together
Clearing
Out with the old
Where there's an old lawn, it's lifted with the roots and taken away. Weeds, stones and debris come out with it.
Preparing
A level, firm bed
The ground is dug over where it's compacted, topped up with soil where it's low, then raked and firmed so the turf sits flat.
Laying
Fresh turf, laid tight
Rolls go down in rows with staggered joints, edges are trimmed to shape and the lawn is watered in.

Can one quote cover more than one service?
Yes. Many gardens need a bit of everything, for example lifting an old lawn, adding topsoil and laying new turf. It all goes on one quote.
